EABP has five categories of individual membership.

NB: Some European countries may require other extra items for Membership than the EABP Membership criteria. In these cases it is the country laws that take precedence.
Candidate Membership:
for people who have completed a training but not yet fulfilled all the EABP criteria for membership.
Student membership:
for students in a recognized Body Psychotherapy Training Institute.
Associate Membership:
for people interested in the field of Body Psychotherapy.
Honorary Membership:
is granted by the EABP General Assembly to people who have contributed significantly to the EABP or the field of Body Psychotherapy.
”The EABP Full Membership Criteria specify ONLY the level of training that practitioners must have completed in order to be practising Body Psychotherapy in a safe and appropriate manner.
Some European countries require additional conditions to be met for therapists to be legally recognised as Body Psychotherapists and be allowed to practice as such. In these cases it is the law of the country that takes precedence, and we cannot therefore guarantee that all Full EABP Members on this Website are legally recognised Body Psychotherapists in their own country.
