General Assembly

The EABP General Assembly is held every year. In one year it is held to coincide with the biennial congress. Reports from all active groups are presented and voted on, elections are held and members are given a chance to ask questions and provide feedback.

In alternative years an online voting system is used to present and vote on the financial reports and the next year’s budget.

Executive Board

The President, the General Secretary and the Treasurer of EABP are elected for two four-year terms at the General Assembly. They are responsible for carrying out the decisions of the Board of Directors and for the day-to-day running of the Association. They supervise the day-to-day work of the Secretariat.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected every two years. It consists of at least five members and also includes a representative from the COUNCIL of National Organisations and Committees and one from the FORUM of EABP Training Institutes and Professional Organisations. The Chairperson of the Ethics Committee is a non-voting member on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for the general policy and direction of the Association and for defining a strategy in accordance with this.
