Congress in 2021 will be an important gathering, where we can renew friendships and develop our professional networks after a difficult and challenging period of time for us all.
We also will want to honour and mourn those we have lost, and with our memories, my wish is that we also will celebrate our lives and hopes together.

Congress 2020 update:
EABP are aware members, other participants and invited speakers will have some concerns about the news from Italy regarding restrictions and other measures in light of parts of Northern Italy being affected by the Coronavirus. We are keeping close scrutiny on events and how these may affect Bologna. At this stage with the Congress itself several months away in September, we remain planning for the event in Bologna. We will keep members and others informed as the situation becomes clearer via updates.
Coronavirus wider considerations:
EABP are advising committees to meet virtually (via Skype, Zoom or other cost free internet meeting platforms) where possible. Where meetings are scheduled to take place, it is the responsibility of the chair and members of the committee, Forum, Council, Board to use Skype, Zoom etc. for connecting with those members in already known affected areas. Such members should not travel and instead use virtual means to communicate with the rest of the meeting. All attenders to meetings should take out travel insurance to cover your costs should you need to remain somewhere or to cancel your trip. We would advise people may wish to consider medical insurance also.
